Rosemary Roasted Turkey

Ingredients
12 pound whole turkey
3/4 cup of The Well Dressed Olive's Rosemary Olive Oil
3 tbsp minced garlic
2 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
1 tbsp chopped fresh basil
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp ground black pepper
salt to taste

Directions
Combine The Well Dressed Olive's Rosemary Olive Oil, minced garlic, rosemary, basil, Italian seasoning, black pepper and salt. Set aside - work on the turkey.

Wash inside and out of the turkey, pat dry. Then slowly work your fingers between the breast and skin to loosen the skin from the meat.

It's time for the rosemary mixture, spread a generous amount of the mixture under the turkey skin and down the thigh and leg. Then rub the remainder of the mixture over the outside of the breast.

Place the turkey in a roasting pan. Add about 1/4 inch of water to the bottom of the pan. Roast according to the number of pounds your turkey weighs. (Usually 20 minutes per pound in a 325 degrees).

Your turkey is done when the meat thermometer (inserted in the thigh) reads 180 degrees and the juices run clear.
